16th Dec. Barbara & Team We're sitting in a very pretty garden having our last African tea, chatting & playing cards before heading to the airport. We've spent the day shopping, relaxing & eating, & managed to meet up with Gertrude as well as Patrick. Once again I'm astounded by the warmth & generosity of all the Ugandan staff we've met. Their love & compassion for vulnerable children combined with their impressive hard work & desire to serve their local communities has challenged & inspired me. Despite flagging today, I'm so glad I came, & am once again going home determined to support the work of Global Care to the best of my ability. The joy & gratitude of children at activity days left us humbled & blessed.
